Weghorst's vow to United supporters
Wout Weghorst has vowed to put in maximum effort when he pulls on the Manchester United jersey. The 30-year-old was at Old Trafford on Saturday to watch his new club produce a sensational Manchester derby comeback less than 24 hours after his arrival was confirmed.
The striker will don the number 27 as he sees out the rest of the season with the Reds. Alongside Anthony Martial, Weghorst is one of two natural number nines in Erik ten Hag's developing squad, and could make his debut against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

He netted nine goals in 18 games for previous club Besiktas, who received £2.6million for agreeing to terminate his previous season-long loan from parent club Burnley. United have had to dip into the loan market this month due to limited funds available after spending £225million in the summer.
Varane makes Premier League title promise
Manchester United defender Raphael Varane admits "everything is possible" after being asked about their Premier League title hopes following a statement victory over Manchester City.
United showed great character to come from behind to beat their near neighbours on Saturday lunchtime as goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford cancelled out a headed opener from Jack Grealish.
It was a win that moved Erik ten Hag and his squad to within a point of City, and showed just how far United have come since the start of the season under their manager.
