It is no secret rental prices have surged across the capital in recent years.
Despite no change in Canberra median rental prices across July, our homes still remain among the most expensive in the country.
Nationally, there has been a 39.7 per cent surge in rents over the past five years, CoreLogic data has revealed.
So what does the top end of Canberra's rental market look like?
Seven houses are currently on the market for $2000 per week or more - and an honourable mention for 11 Terrigal Crescent, O'Malley, which is listed for $1950 per week.
Here are the five most expensive.
Seven-bed mansion
Nestled in one of Canberra's most coveted suburbs, this Red Hill residence has two dwellings with a pool and tennis court between them.
The property at 2 Torress Street, Red Hill has luxury inclusions and is listed at $3500 per week.
One residence offers a four-bedroom, four-bathroom abode with three living areas and formal dining.
The second dwelling has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a large open-plan area and balcony.

It features a large lobby and several open-plan living rooms with entry onto two balconies.
The kitchen is Italian marble with timber floors. There is a butler's pantry adjacent.
In the main living room is a full wall of shelves, ideal for displaying collections or books.
The master room has a large study, ensuite and wardrobe.
Just sold but back on the market
The five-bedroom house at 4 Sorrell Street, Forrest, has been a familiar figure on the Canberra property market recently.
The house sold for $6.1 million in April 2024. Now, it is available to rent for $2500.
It includes two ensuites and a third bathroom close to large bedrooms.
A fireplace frames a generous living area with plenty of natural light.
