Veteran Chicago Bulls big man Andre Drummond is the darling of the trade machines and trade rumors both ahead of the NBA’s 2024 trade deadline due to arrive on Feb. 8. Would it make sense to move Big Penguin to the Boston Celtics, one of several teams the UConn alum has been tied to in the rumor mill, for a package of second round picks?
“Throwing a couple of second-rounders to Chicago for Drummond could be worth it” for Boston according to Celtics Blog’s Jack Simone, but we think such a deal could bring back more than just picks for the Bulls.
On Tap Sports’ Morris Bankston thinks that “Oshae Brissett’s upside potential when it comes to offensive rebounding … and perimeter defense” make him an ideal target for Chicago.

We agree Brissett is an intriguing option who could likely be gettable in such a scenario, with perhaps Brissett and a quality second-rounder being among the better returns Chicago could reasonably get for Drummond on an expiring minimum deal.
