Armed police have responded to an incident in Worthing town centre, Sussex, as people are told to leave the area.
The incident on the south coast involved a group of young people.
Offices have urged everyone to avoid the area while they respond and there is a large police presence in the town centre.
An area near the town's McDonald's has reportedly been cordoned off.
In a statement, Sussex Police said: “We are currently responding to an incident involving a number of young people in Worthing town centre.
“There is a large police presence including firearms officers. Please avoid this area and we will provide an update as soon as we can.”
Footage from the scene shows crowds outside the fast food chain, as a number of police vehicles are parked outside.
