Worried family appeal for help to find missing East Kilbride student

The worried family of an East Kilbride student last seen on Sunday afternoon are appealing for help in tracing him.

Aidan Dewsbery, who is understood to attend South Lanarkshire College, hasn't been heard from since then and family are becoming increasingly worried for his safety.

Police Scotland have also confirmed to Lanarkshire Live that Aidan has been reported as a missing person and enquiries are ongoing to trace him.

His sister, Chelsea, posted on social media: "If anyone has been in contact with my brother, Aidan Dewsbery, can they please contact me. He was last seen when left mum's.

"He's not been seen since Sunday at two in the afternoon - no one has seen or heard from him and it's very unusual and out off character. If you know anything, no matter how small, please get in touch."

Anyone with any information should contact police on 101.

Information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
