The first Worlde puzzle of March has some players frustrated at the 'tricky' answer.
Truly embedded in our morning routines, Wordle has taken the internet by storm with as many as three million of use taking on the challenge each day.
And Tuesday, March 1 marks the 255th day of the five-letter word game.
After a particularly tricky puzzle today, “Wordle 255 X” is trending on Twitter as lots of players failed to get the answer right in six attempts.
Sharing their attempts on social media, many users aired their frustration.
Despite guessing today's word on go number five, @Totana42x was left a bit confused and wrote: "I would never have linked those letters..."
And @Dingodingo14 forecast some anger after completing the today's testing game.
He wrote: "I think there will be a *lot* of angry people today."
User @sydneyycain had some strong feelings after successfully guessing the five-letter word on her final go and tweeted: "I’ve never been so full of anger in my entire life".
Others were not so lucky, failing to complete the puzzle.
@MrCAndersonDILT Tweeted: "So close but yet so far…" after only guessing three out of five letters in today's word.
Today's puzzle saw some fail to complete the daily game for the first time.
Much like @RonnDeanArk who took to Twitter to share the news: "The first one I didn’t complete. I’ll try again tomorrow."
Hints for today's Wordle

First of all, today's letter begins with an R and end with the letter E.
The five letter word is also made up of three vowels - with two of these being the same letter.

What was today's answer?
The Wordle 255 answer for Tuesday 1 March is "rupee".
A rupee is the standard unit of money used in India, Pakistan, Mauritius, Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Seychelles.
One rupee is currently worth almost exactly one penny, meaning there are around 100 rupees to every Great British pound.
What is Wordle?
The game was created by software engineer, Josh Wardle, who recently sold the popular word game to the New York Times for an undisclosed seven figure sum.
Simple but addictive, Worlde is a word game with only one puzzle.
The puzzle is the same for everyone and you play it daily.
All you need to do is guess one single word each time you play - you have six attempts.
Using Wordle's colour coded system, you must try to guess a five-letter word.
The colours give you a little help by letting you know whether a letter is in the right spot or not.
For example, if the letter turns green then you know it is in the correct position.
On the other hand, the letter will turn yellow if it is in the word but just not quite in the right place with the letter turning grey if it is not in the word at all.
If you fancy a challenge, you could turn on 'hard mode' which forces players to use hints given by the game, stopping you from guessing words at random.
