World's largest ice labyrinth is bigger than 15 tennis courts - could you escape it?

Many of us will have had a go at a maze in a theme park at some point in our lives. They can be scary when you are not quite sure how you are going to get out but there is always a sweet feeling when you complete the route eventually. But one maze at a theme park in Poland has taken its labyrinth to new heights as it is made completely out of ice and can only be used if the weather allows for it.

Snowlandia in Zakopane, Poland, features the world's largest ice labyrinth and it is quite the task to escape.

The maze is located in the Tatras mountains and it has been a huge hotspot for tourists since it was first built in 2016 and is currently the biggest in the world of its kind, stretching the size of 32,000 square foot, equivalent to 15 tennis courts.

Those who dare to have a go at this icy game will first have to enter through an ice-castle and the aim is to find your way through the maze and up the castle to give you the chance to see the epic panoramic views at the top.

The castle itself sits at 14m high and looks much like a castle you would see in the medieval world.

Along the way on your journey you might see knights engaged in battle or a demonstration by a blacksmith.

Additionally, if you find your way through you will be able to exit by the gate or via the ice slide if you wish.

But that is not all that Snowlandia has to offer as the unique theme park also houses a zoo with exotic creatures such as the Arctic Fox and Mountain Sheep, as well as a range of ice and snow sculptures and a sledding track.

If you fancy heading to the park to have a go at the maze it is £4.65 to enter or £18.44 for a family of four.

The icy maze will set you back a further £5.62 on top of entry, however, and the maze is open from December to March but that is very weather dependent.
