A man dubbed 'the world's hottest maths teacher' is now giving online lessons on the meaning of love to thousands of adoring fans.
Brainbox hunk Pietro Boselli shot to fame back in 2016 when his engineering students started taking secret photos of him during his classes at University College London and sharing them on social media.
Quickly moving from the lecture hall to the catwalk thanks to his good looks, the 33-year-old from Verona in Italy is back in the classroom.
But this time doing his 'lectures' are online from his official Instagram page which boasts a brain-boggling 2.7 million followers.
The former face of Armani has uploaded a series dubbed 'In Depth', answering some of the interesting questions that he's asked - and he certainly isn't shying away from the big questions.
The prof has already covered topics such as ‘most research findings are wrong’, ‘the scientific method is not what you think’, and ‘how to not care what others think’.
But it is his lesson on love that got fans hot under the collar.
Uploaded to IGTV, the half hour-long video entitled ‘What is love (the chemistry of love)’ talks about the burning subject from a purely scientific and logical stance - as befits the mechanical engineering PhD.
Perhaps aware that many fans would be unhappy for him to speak of the tender topic using cold hard facts, he points out that he still has time for love songs and poetry but that "we pursue knowledge undeterred and always come out better off".
He goes on to explain that love is not a feeling but a primary motivational system - although we can't see that sounding as catchy in a Barry White tune.
Further to that, Pietro says that a cocktail of chemicals results in the emergence of love, saying the phenomenon is just like a recipe for chocolate cake.
The muscly mathematician then goes deeper into the metaphor, likening lust, attraction and attachment to sponge, filling and icing.
However, he goes on to say: "I present these in order but it's not law. The things may well overlap or happen independently.
"Attraction and lust are separate but they go into the overall making of love - I'm just describing the most classic cake recipe here." Tasty stuff.
