World's biggest indoor Harry Potter attraction to open its doors later this year

Harry Potter fans, get your house robes and wands at the ready - the world's largest indoor Harry Potter attraction is set to open its doors later this month.

The UK has heaps of brilliant Harry Potter themed breaks, including the iconic Warner Bros Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter.

The attraction, which takes you behind-the-scenes with props, film sets and more surprises, is now getting a sister site.

Warner. Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter is due to open its doors from June 16, and when it does it's going to have a whole host of exciting features.

As well as giving fans behind-the-scenes peeks at the Harry Potter films, it will also feature nods to the Fantastic Beasts franchises.

Other perks will include the world's biggest Harry Potter shop with 14 sections , as well as restaurants and cafés serving up everything from English breakfasts to afternoon tears.

The brand new Studio Tour worked with original Harry Potter filmmakers to recreate the sets such as the Great Hall at Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest and the Hogwarts Express.

The latter will be an original steam locomotive built in 1929 that's been refurbished to become the magical train.

But that's not all. Fans will also get a tour of an exclusive set for Tokyo; the Great Wizarding Express, which appeared in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

The train carriage is art deco in styling, and will depict the scene where Newt Scamander and his friends prepare for a dangerous mission.

Other fun activities, similar to the offerings in the UK, will include riding a broomstick and drinking a refreshing Butterbeer, as well as getting the chance to appear in a moving portrait in the halls of Hogwarts and step into the crowd of a Quidditch game.

While the Studio Tour will open in June, tickets will be going on sale next week from March 22. You can find out more at wbstudiotour.jp.

Of course for Brits, the original UK version of the Studio Tour needs to be on any muggle's radar.

You can wander through iconic sets from the Great Hall to the Gryffindor Common room, get up close to the costumes and props and learn heaps of fascinating secrets.

(There are even green screen experiences if you fancy creating some magical moments of your own!).

Individual tickets start from £51.50 - you can find out more on the Warner Bros Studio Tour website. Tickets must be pre-booked in advance.
