A restaurant that's been ranked the number one 'World's Best Steak Restaurant' is coming to Liverpool next month.
Hawksmoor is famous for its charcoal grilled, 35-day dry aged steaks and its award-winning cocktails. The venue is also notable for its impressive and stylish interiors, offering diners a swanky and decadent escape.
Set to open on November 24, Hawksmoor will make the Grade II listed India Buildings, based just off Castle Street on the corner of Brunswick Street and Fenwick Street, its new home. The posh new restaurant will boast 150 covers, a private dining space and a bar which can be enjoyed by restaurant guests or those who fancy popping in for a beverage.

Hawksmoor was founded in 2006 by childhood friends, Will Beckett and Huw Gott, who set about opening a restaurant serving steaks from traditionally-reared cattle and sustainably sourced seafood. The venue also offered retro and traditional cocktails and was based in a relatively unfashionable part of London - though that quickly changed.
Since then, Hawksmoor has grown to a 10 restaurant group, with venues in Manchester, Edinburgh and New York. Its most recent launch in the Big Apple was a roaring success, garnering praise in The New York Times, The New Yorker and critics across New York City’s renowned restaurant scene.
With a focus on sustainability, charity and local sourcing, Hawksmoor is the first UK restaurant to become a certified B Corp. Will and Huw’s obsession with quality and ethics has led them to collaborate with and highlight individuals and companies who share their beliefs, from local farmers and fishermen to local, national and international charities fighting food poverty. Their restaurants have also been given the highest rating for sustainability by the Sustainable Restaurants Association.
Their nominated Liverpool charity will be Feeding Liverpool, a local food alliance which was set up in 2015 to tackle hunger and food insecurity by identifying the root causes of poverty. Hawksmoor has pledged a £10,000 initial contribution to Feeding Liverpool and will follow this initial donation with contributions from best selling menu items and ongoing fundraising, all in a bid to foster a supportive long term partnership with Feeding Liverpool and their vital network.
Hawksmoor will open in Liverpool on Thursday, November 24. For more information, click here.
