World leading phone game designer setting up Dundee HQ

One of the world’s leading mobile phone games developer is setting up a Dundee HQ.

Bosses at Hutch are now hunting top talent to join its new team in the city.

The company have had a temporary presence in the city on and off for four years but the latest move is permanent.

They have opened their brand new office at the award-winning Water’s Edge development.

The office will be home to their performance marketing team.

The company’s Chief Financial Officer, Peter Hansen Chambers, said: “The city of Dundee has a rich history of game development and, alongside fellow games companies, we are really happy to have found a new home for our team.

“With the official opening of our new office, we look forward to further growth in Dundee as we work to better support our portfolio of games.”

While Stewart Clark, Managing Director at Chroma Developments, the team responsible for Water's Edge, added: “Water’s Edge has become a hub for video games studios.

“We have an amazing space that inspires, connects and energises creative industry companies, allowing them to flourish and we look forward to welcoming the Hutch team.”
