The World Economic Forum's annual event in Davos is set to address a range of important topics on Wednesday. United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres will deliver a speech focusing on the urgent need to combat climate change, amidst concerns raised by U.S. President Donald Trump's plans to expand fossil fuel production.

One of the key discussions at the event will revolve around Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its potential implications. The concept of artificial general intelligence (AGI), which envisions machines with human-like intelligence, has sparked both excitement and apprehension. Some experts warn that unchecked AI development could pose significant risks to humanity.

President Trump recently announced a major investment in AI infrastructure through a partnership involving Oracle, SoftBank, and OpenAI. This initiative, known as the Stargate project, aims to support the growing power demands of AI technologies.

On the political front, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez will address the forum, highlighting the European Union's ongoing trade relations with the U.S. President Trump's recent comments on trade tariffs have raised concerns among EU leaders, including Spain.

Meanwhile, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will discuss a new economic partnership between Malaysia and Singapore aimed at boosting job creation and attracting investment to the region.

The event in Davos brings together global leaders and experts to address pressing economic, environmental, and technological challenges facing the world today.
