World Darts Championship LIVE!
The quarter-finals of the World Darts Championship continue at Alexandra Palace this evening. Chris Dobey has already booked his place in the final four by beating Gerwyn Price, while Michael van Gerwen then defeated Callan Rydz in another absolute thriller in the afternoon session on New Year’s Day.
The evening instalment on Wednesday sees Peter Wright, not long after beating reigning champion Luke Humphries, take on Stephen Bunting. After that, strong favourite and teenage sensation Luke Littler squares off against Nathan Aspinall as ‘The Nuke’ looks for a semi-final berth once again.
The path certainly appears to be opening up for Littler, though shocks have been plentiful during this year’s tournament and he will not want to get carried away. Still, having overcome Ryan Joyce in tense fashion earlier this week, the 17-year-old does look to have the tools to go one better than this time last year.
