World Cup winner interrupted by topless wife while delivering fan message

Germany World Cup winner Andreas Brehme had a video message for a fan interrupted - by his topless wife.

Brehme, who scored the winner in the 1990 final against Argentina, now records personalised messages for fans on site Memmo.me, which is used by an array of former footballers including Liverpool legend Michael Owen and Arsenal hero Ray Parlour.

One of his paying customers got more than they bargained for, however, when at the end of their one-minute long clip they got a cameo appearance from Brehme's wife Susanne, who'd wandered into the room in just her pants.

The 62-year-old is understandably not too tech savvy and must not have realised he'd A) panned the camera round to show her exposed chest and B) not cut it out of the recording.

It subsequently made its way out into the wider world, but fortunately the pair took it in good humour. Brehme told Bild: "We only realised it when more and more friends called.

"I have no idea why this is coming up now. Someone must have posted it. I didn't even realise that I had sent it at the time.

"Now the whole world knows what a great wife I have! Shouldn't have happened, but I can laugh at myself. In future I'd better let Susanne film.”

Susanne, meanwhile, was very blase about the whole situation. She added: "That was last summer on vacation at Lake Garda. But what's up?

"So you can see me changing on the beach. Or in the sauna. We laugh about it and I tease Andy, my social media expert."
