Portugal's World Cup clash with Uruguay was briefly halted after a fan carrying a rainbow flag ran onto the pitch.
The incident happened just after half-time, and shortly before Bruno Fernandes had given Portugal the lead at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar.
As well as a rainbow flag, the protester was also seemingly wearing a T-shirt with the message “Save Ukraine” on the front, and “Respect for Iranian Women” on the back.

It took three security guards to remove the fan from the field of play, with the clash resuming after Iranian referee Alireza Faghani retrieved the flag.
Homosexuality is illegal in Qatar, and the displaying of the rainbow flag has become a source of tension for FIFA and organisers.
Some supporters, and even members of the media, have had items of clothing featuring rainbow flags confiscated during the tournament, with FIFA forced to remind Qatari authorities of their previous assurances that the World Cup would be welcoming to all fans.
But FIFA themselves have found themselves in the firing line, having threatened seven national sides with possible sanctions over their intentions to wear the One Love armband, which were believed to include showing a yellow card to any player wearing it.
Germany reacted to news by carrying out a silent protest ahead of their defeat to Japan, covering their mouths to seemingly suggest they were being silenced by FIFA.
A statement by the DFB at the time read: “We wanted to use our captain’s armband to take a stand for values that we hold in the Germany national team: diversity and mutual respect. Together with other nations, we wanted our voice to be heard.
“It wasn’t about making a political statement – human rights are non-negotiable. That should be taken for granted, but it still isn’t the case. That’s why this message is so important to us. Denying us the armband is the same as denying us a voice. We stand by our position.”
