MUMBAI: Having just arrived in India, pacer Jofra Archer, still recovering from an elbow stress fracture, trained with the England squad at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday, a couple of days before their 2023 World Cup clash against South Africa here.
"Archer arrived yesterday. He's training with the team today, but he's not supposed to bowl," a source told TOI.
Down with injury, Archer hasn't played for England since March. Archer will be on standby in case of an injury to one of England's six frontline seamers.
