England fans have the chance to net a holiday every time the Three Lions score a World Cup goal.
Yesterday Gareth Southgate's men got their campaign off to a flying start in Qatar, putting six past Iran in what was the country's strongest ever opening fixture in a World Cup.
Had fans been signed up to TravelSupermarket's latest competition, then they'd of had six chances to win a holiday, and an extra shot when Gareth Bale equalised from the penalty spot against the US later on Monday.
That's because the holiday comparison website is handing out a £500 holiday voucher every time England and Wales score during the 2022 World Cup.
Customers can enter throughout the tournament and following each goal, a winner will be selected at random.
If the wheels come off the Home Nations' promising starts, then a separate competition from icelolly.com may help to dampen the misery.
Every time a red card foul is committed, one entrant will be selected by the price comparison website to receive a £500 voucher to spend on their chosen holiday.
Richard Singer, CEO at Ice Travel Group, said: “As if the World Cup isn’t exciting enough as it is, we’re thrilled to be ramping up the adrenaline with the opportunity for fans to win big with icelolly.com and TravelSupermarket.
"As teams from around the world compete, football and travel fans alike can connect over their shared passions, keeping that all-important winning streak going.”
Anyone can enter both prize draws via the icelolly.com and TravelSupermarket websites, where each lucky winner will be chosen at random.
The competitions launched on Sunday, 20 November and will be open until the World Cup Final on Sunday 18 December.
Winners will be chosen within 72 hours of each red card or England goal.
How to celebrate and enjoy the World Cup has been difficult to work out for many football fans this year, in no small part due to the many people who died building stadiums and related infrastructure.
On Monday Mirror feature writer Saffron Otter took to a fan zone in Manchester to see how fans were getting into the swing of things against this backdrop.
"There are thousands of buoyant fans in England shirts and matching bucket hats eagerly awaiting their favourite players to come out onto the pitch," she wrote.
"Already echoes of "Come on England!" fill the immense space while red and white flashing lights line the ceiling.
"Unsurprisingly it's not at its capacity of 6,000 on a Monday afternoon but supporters from near and far have made a good effort to show up for their team.
"There's an expansive seated area with a laid-back vibe, but over in the standing room is where the rowdiest lot are - one with MAGUIRE written on his chest that he bears every few minutes.
"A few ring leaders at the very front get the crowd going, encouraging an eruption of synchronised cheers and chants, including the gift that came from the Euros - Atomic Kitten's 'Southgate You're the One (Football's Coming Home Again)'."
