The World Cup break is upon us, and fans will be taking a welcome break from the Fantasy Premier League over the coming weeks by embarking on a Fantasy World Cup adventure instead.

With official pages, tipsters and even podcasts based on the English top-flight version, it seemed only a formality that the mid-season break would form some excitement by keeping an eye on players across the worldwide tournament that is set to unfold from Sunday onwards. Of course, the rapid nature of events means that fans will have to be hot on the task of replacing, replenishing and looking for players to fire them up the tables with their friends, foes and overall competitors in a bid for glory.
