Steve Clarke might not be taking much interest in the World Cup draw with his Scotland side still 180 minutes away from qualifying for Qatar.
But that won’t stop millions of others tuning in around the globe to see those balls picked out in Doha.
Of course, Scotland’s name will be in the draw. It’s just that it will be alongside Ukraine and Wales with only one of the three heading to the Middle East in November.
Let’s not forget, though, that Scotland were in a similar scenario when the Euro 2020 finals draw took place.
There was still work to be done but maybe knowing England lay in wait gave the team extra motivation to get through their play-off ties.
A few other spots are undecided with New Zealand or Costa Rica and one of Australia/United Arab Emirates/Peru making up the final 32 teams.
However, what we do know is that the teams victorious in those outstanding play-offs will be in Pot 4.
That means, should Clarke’s men negotiate their two tough ties, then they could end up in that dreaded Group of Death.
It’s all ifs and buts at this stage until Scotland get there but the picture will become clearer when the draw takes place at 5pm UK time on Friday.
And here are the confirmed pots from FIFA ahead of the big day in Doha.
