England took on old foes in Wales on Tuesday night hoping to top their World Cup group with a win.
Sitting pretty on four points before the fixture took place, a victory would see the side triumph over both Iran and USA, while a draw or loss - so long as it wasn't by five goals - would still see them qualify at the very least, in second place.
And while USA were victorious over Iran, seeing out a narrow 1-0 win thanks to Christian Pulisic, England clutched a victory of their own in the reformed 'Battle of Britain' - with a Marcus Rashford brace and a Phil Foden addition seeing off the Dragons in style.

The results mean that England successfully topped Group B in first place on seven points, with the USA finishing second on five respectively. But what does that mean going forward? The winners of Group A face the runners up of Group B.
As England finished top of their own group, they will now go on to play Senegal, who finished second in Group A.

The game will take place at the 68,895 capacity Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor this Sunday (December 4). Kick off is scheduled for 7pm GMT.
