Manchester United's supporters lauded in-form Marcus Rashford after he stepped off the bench to score the winner and seal a 1-0 win over Wolves at Molineux on Saturday afternoon.
After starting among the substitutes because of an 'internal disciplinary' issue, the England international came on at half-time, replacing Alejandro Garnacho, and fired United into a 76th-minute lead. He showed tremendous strength and desire to hold onto the ball inside the penalty area, under pressure from Jonny, before firing a low shot past Jose Sa.
It was a goal that epitomised his transformation under United manager Erik ten Hag this season, showing a real sense of energy and desire to hold onto the ball and get a shot off. It was just the kind of impact he would have hoped to have made after being forced to start the game on the bench.

Rashford now has 11 goals this season to show for his efforts. In many ways, it was similar to the goal that he scored in the 4-2 Carabao Cup win over Aston Villa prior to the World Cup, in the sense that he was determined to retain possession and get a shot off at all costs.
His energy and desire to do that, unsurprisingly, earned him plenty of plaudits from United's supporters, who also waxed lyrical about the quality of the finish. Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look to see what they had to say:
