WordleBot from the New York Times has figured out the best Wordle starting word

We’ve shared a few of the best starting words for Wordle that we’ve found from around the internet … but it turns out one is the best of the best.

Thanks to the New York Times’ new WordleBot, we have an answer.

That’s right, the owners of Wordle have delivered a tool that’s here to help you score your guesses and, as the NYT says, “tell you at each turn what, if anything, you could have done differently — if solving Wordles in as few steps as possible is your goal.”

(For what it’s worth, my goal is simply to win, but I know others play for lowest amount of guesses).
