Liverpool travel to the south coast on Saturday afternoon to take on Brighton & Hove Albion as the Reds look to record their first win of the new year.
The Reds will start the game at the AMEX Stadium in seventh place and just one point above their opponents. Liverpool are seven points away from Manchester United in fourth place.
Pundits have predicted a tough game for Jurgen Klopp's side on Saturday as the German will be without Virgil van Dijk, Roberto Firmino, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and possibly Darwin Nunez.

Premier League winner Chris Sutton predicted Liverpool to come away with a 2-2 draw against Brighton and he told his BBC Sport column: "Liverpool have not really got much better since then - they still look shaky at the back and they still waste a lot of chances. One day Darwin Nunez will score five in the same game, but it won't be this weekend.
"I'm not sure why Brighton have left Leandro Trossard out of their past couple of games, because he scored a hat-trick at Anfield and always seemed to me to be one of their main men, but they are still dangerous without him."
Sportskeeda also think the spoils will be shared at Brighton, a result that will leave the two sides just a point apart in the table: "There will be goals in this game and it's very likely to be an open match, Liverpool have found plenty of joy at the Amex but the Seagulls have been pretty prolific under De Zerbi. This should be an exciting contest and the two teams are likely to share the spoils here."
TEAMtalk think Klopp's side will be beaten 2-1 on the south coast in what will be Liverpool's second Premier League defeat in a row and surely put their top four hopes on the back burner.
Lewis Jones of Sky Sports is siding with Sutton in believing the match between Liverpool and the Seagulls will end in a 2-2 draw.
