Guys such as actor Martin Clunes, footie icon Gary Lineker and King Charles are the best lovers, according to a sex survey.
Rachel Emery, 31, of St Albans, Herts, said: “Big ears are more manly, I find them a huge turn-on. I dated a guy with small ears and I was very disappointed. The next guy I dated had ears like Martin Clunes…and he was magnificent.”
Elliott Hendry, 32, of Cardiff, said women were drawn to his huge ears “like moths to a flame” and he has never had any complaints in the bedroom department.
The 2,000 women polled for Illicit Encounters, a dating website for married people, found titchy-eared men were a turn-off.
They rated the best lovers by ear size and shape as follows: 24% favoured big/sticky-out ears; 21% pointed ears; 15% square ears; 11% broad lobes; 10% round lobes; 9% attached lobes; 5% small/narrow ears .
The remaining 5% said they had no preference about ear size.
