Women’s World Cup 2023: How to watch every match live for FREE on TV and online in UK

The Women’s World Cup kicks off in Australia and New Zealand this week.

The dominant and formidable USA are the defending and reigning champions, having won each of the last two tournaments, and are favourites to make it a hat-trick of consecutive titles Down Under.

But Megan Rapinoe and Co could face a stiff challenge to their crown from England, who are desperate to end their long World Cup hoodoo after an unforgettable European Championship triumph at Wembley last summer.

Every game at the tournament will be available to watch live and free-to-air in the UK, with the BBC and ITV splitting the broadcast rights in a deal that was finally confirmed last month.

Each match will either be shown on TV on the BBC or ITV, plus online via their respective websites and on the BBC iPlayer and ITVX app, while the final on August 20 is set to be broadcast on both channels.

Here is how to watch every single Women’s World Cup group fixture for 2023 live and for free on terrestrial television in the UK.
