Women's Euro 2022 winner odds: England favourites for tournament ahead of quarter-finals

England will be aiming to take another huge step towards Wembley on Wednesday as they face Spain in their Women’s Euro 2022 quarter-final.

The Lionesses have made it to the knockout stages, having breezed through their group with wins over Austria, Norway and Northern Ireland, scoring 14 goals in the process. The tournament though is about to get much more difficult for the hosts.

As they move into the last eight, they face a Spain side who were tipped as favourites before the Euros began. The world’s number seven-ranked side though were hit hard on the eve of the tournament by an injury to star player Alexia Putellas.

That has seen their odds drift over the past couple of weeks, and they only secured their qualification for the knockout stages in their final group game thanks to a late winner against Denmark. They’ve now been displaced as favourites, and it’s the Lionesses being tipped for glory.
