KOCHI: A full bench of the Kerala high court consisting only of women judges will hear a case filed by the state government on Women’s Day. It is said that it is the first time that a full bench of women judges is being constituted at the high court.
The full bench will consist of justices Anu Sivaraman, Shircy V, and MR Anitha. They will hear a review petition filed by the government against a full bench’s decision that Guruvayur Devaswom’s donation of Rs5 crore to Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) after the 2018 floods was illegal.
While justice A Hariprasad was part of the full bench that heard the government’s case originally, justice Shircy was included in the bench as justice Hariprasad retired.
