Women's Cricket: India thrashes West Indies by 115 runs, takes 2-0 unassailable lead

India wins by 115 runs

Vadodara: Indian team thrashed West Indies by 115 runs in the second women's ODI of the three-match series in Vadodara on Tuesday.

India seals series  
With the virtue of this win, India took an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series.

India scores 358/5
Riding on Harleen Deol's 115, Smriti Mandhana's 53, and Pratika Rawal's 76, India scored 358/5 in stipulated 50 overs. 

In reply, the visitors could score 243 runs in 46.2 overs. For India, Priya Mishra took three wickets while pacer Titas Sadhu (2/42) and seasoned spinner Deepti Sharma (2/40) were also shone with the ball.

Hayley Matthews

For West Indies, Hayley Matthews scored 106 runs off 109 balls. Except Matthews and Shemaine Campbelle (38), no other West Indies batters could face Indian bowlers. Both batters added 112 runs for the fifth wicket partnership.
