Woman with 'messed up' tattoo on her neck urged to find a good cover-up artist

A woman has been told that her neck tattoo is 'messed up' with people claiming it will scare off anyone who approaches her.

Hairstylist Jayda C was filmed in the tattooist's chair getting the unique artwork done on her neck.

The unusual design shows her boyfriend's face, next to another inking of his name, Damonte.

Damonte filmed the short clip, which shows the tattoo artist working from a photograph of his face, which he later shared it on TikTok, the Daily Star reports.

Soon the video went viral and amassed thousands of likes, and while some TikTok users had complimentary things to say, others branded it "messed up".

Damonte, who shares on TikTok as @damonteray, gained more than 335,000 likes on the clip where he grinned proudly at his girlfriend's committed gesture.

In the TikTok video, he wrote: "My girlfriend getting my face tatted," before adding, "bae lit," in the caption.

Viewers were left divided over the clip as many took to the comments dubbing the image a mistake.

One user wrote: "She messed up." Another commented: "I was trying to trust the process."

A third simply said: "No. Way."

"Now she needs a good cover-up artist," a fourth added.

However, other viewers thought it was a romantic gesture as they took to the comments to defend the inking.

One user argued: "This is love."

Another penned: "You know what. It looks just like him."

Meanwhile, a tattooed mum who 'can't get a job' due to her extensive inkings has covered her designs with makeup to see what she'd look like without any work done - and now she looks unrecognisable.

Melissa Sloan, 46, is 'addicted' to tattoos and gets three new designs each week - often letting her partner do it himself, to keep the costs down, as the Daily Star reports.

The mum from Wales became curious about what she'd look like without any ink, so she pulled out her makeup bag and applied layer after layer of foundation to hide her facial tattoos.

Previously, Melissa has told how she had been evicted from bars and restaurants when people found her appearance scary, but now she would be able to return as with the makeup on, she looks completely unrecognisable.
