Police have launched an appeal for a missing woman with links to Edinburgh and East Lothian who has been missing since Wednesday.
Peebles woman Jenny Thomson, 33, was last seen in the area of James Street in Musselburgh on Wednesday, May 17, reports the Daily Record.
Jenny was last seen at 6.30pm on May 17, and has been missing for two days since that sighting.

Scottish police have issued an appeal to the public to trace the missing woman, by issuing a photograph and description on social media.
Jenny is described as being of a slim built, 5ft tall, with long brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was seen wearing a light gold-coloured jacket with a fur hood, and a pair of dark trousers.

Police officers have said that Jenny has connections to the Edinburgh and East Lothian areas.
Inspector David Robertson of Police Scotland said: “Along with Jenny’s family and friends, we are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing and are appealing for anyone who may have seen her to please come forward.
“If you can assist our efforts to trace her, please call police on 101, quoting incident 3611 of 17 May 2023.”
