A gran who won a 180mph £100,000 Porsche 911 says she would rather keep beloved Vauxhall Corsa.
Joanne McGuigan, 49, won the red supercar after paying £10 to enter the Omaze Million Pound House Draw.
The gran-of-four didn’t tell her car-mad husband Iain, 52, to avoid getting his hopes up before confirming the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe was hers.
Despite winning the sports car, Joanne has no plans to part with her nippy Vauxhall Corsa VXR worth £10,000.
Joanne, of Fife, Scotland, said: "I’d just come in from work and saw an email from Omaze saying I’d won something.
"I thought it sounded too good to be true so didn’t even mention to my husband when he came home.
"Later that night I decided to check it again and was flabbergasted to find my entry code did indeed match and I’d genuinely won a Porsche!
"My husband was still dubious though and told me not to get my hopes up, but now the car is actually here I think he’s finally convinced!
"I have never won anything before this so I’m still in shock to be honest.
"It’s the first time I’ve ever been inside a Porsche and the car is absolutely stunning - after going for a spin I can safely say it's definitely quicker than my Vauxhall.”
While it can't quite compete with the Porsche's 3.0L, twin-turbo, six-cylinder engine and 0-62mph of just four seconds, her 1.6-litre Corsa still produces a respectable 200bhp and takes seven seconds to reach 62mph.
However the car is destined to be sold as its value is “life-changing money”.
Joanne, who recently started working as a training officer for home care through her local council, said: "As much as my husband would love to keep it, the money we’ll get from selling it is life changing.
"We’re going to sell it and use the money to pay off our mortgage - and treat our children and grandchildren.”
Joanne paid £10 for her winning entry as part of her Omaze Million Pound House Draw subscription and is hoping her good luck doesn't stop there.
The main prize is a stunning £4,500,000 waterfront house in Cornwall - as part of Omaze’s biggest ever prize draw, raising vital funds for Marie Curie.
