Woman who fell in love with her cousin posted kiss picture to break it to family

A woman who fell in love with her first cousin has revealed they posted a picture of them kissing to their family Facebook group - but were kicked out.

Angela Peang, from Eagle, Mountain in Utah, US, confessed she first had a crush on her husband Michael Lee at primary school but their families were told to "keep to them apart."

The parents, who are brother and sister, were "shocked and horrified", according to husband Michael, after making their relationship official by posting a polaroid in their family's Facebook group.

It didn't go to plan as the couple were kicked out the group - much to their surprise.

The pair, who appeared on Amazon's Extreme Love in January 2020, said their romance was equivalent to "Romeo and Juliet."

Michael said: "It was second grade, we were about eight-years-old. We immediately clicked and we were like best friends. We were slow dancing in the closet and we got caught kissing."

Angela was told by her parents not to pursue any kind of sexual relationship with her first cousin.

She said: "I got pulled aside by my parents and they said, "What is going on?" And my mom said, "Cool it Angie."

"We felt like from then on we were kinda kept apart. It felt a little bit unfair, it felt a little bit like Romeo and Juliet - except for these warring families, it's the same family.

The couple decided to rekindle their electric chemistry for the first time in 10 years and the pair have been inseparable ever since.

Angie said: "Nine months ago, we saw each other for the first time in 10 years and just fireworks.

"It felt like we picked up where we left off.'

Michael added: "Immediately it was like, "She's still super hot."

Angie confessed she could not get Michael out of her head - but she was nervous telling him just in case he didn't feel the same.

She revealed: "I had a sex dream about Michael after that and I wanted to tell him about it but I was so nervous that he didn't feel the same way."

The couple eventually got together and drove across Grand Junction, Colorado in 2019 to get married as it would have been illegal for them to get married in Utah.

They travelled to Colorado due to Utah only allowing couples getting 65-years-old or older to get married.

The couple were keen to have children but due to the risks the had had to undergo testing.

She told New York Post: "We had to do our due diligence because everyone was saying to us, 'No, don't do that,' and 'It's so risky and irresponsible.

"So we did genetic testing and found out it was OK for us to parent together."

The couple welcomed Eric in 2020 after Angela suffered a miscarriage earlier that year.

But despite family and friends voicing their concern at the marriage, the couple said they didn't care.

Angela revealed in 2020: "We have a strong attraction and it is very mutually satisfying."

However, in July her husband Michael tragically died after having a seizure at work, Angela revealed to her YouTube followers.
