A woman who died in a collision over the weekend was a leading road racing cyclist and a manager at Microsoft.
Gabriele Glodenyte died following a crash with a car while she was out cycling shortly before lunchtime on Saturday in Dublin.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:50pm at Grallagh in Garristown.

Ms Glodenyte was pronounced dead at the scene, with her remains later being transferred to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for a post-mortem.
The 24-year-old from Drogheda was cycling with her partner Sean Landers when the collision occurred.
Her heartbroken partner posted online: "I can’t believe I have to make this post, but I want to let everybody know that unfortunately Gabriele’s life was taken from us all too soon, doing what she loved. On Saturday afternoon, on our cycle together, she was struck head on by a car, and killed. Thank you to everyone for the kind messages I’ve received. RIP Gabriele."
Cycling Ireland said in a statement: "On behalf of all of our members, Cycling Ireland would like to extent our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, club-mates and all who knew her. Our thoughts are with them at this devastating time."
The road was sealed off for a time following the collision while Garda forensic collision investigators carried out an examination.
Ms Glodenyte worked as a Partner Business Manager at Microsoft after graduating with a degree in Management Science and Information Systems Studies (MSISS) from Trinity College Dublin.
Among her cycling successes was victory in the the Cycling Ireland National Road Series last year, during which she won the Brian O’Loughlin Memorial in Co Mayo.
She also won the Newry Three Day race in Co Down and twice competed in Rás na mBan.
The Vélo Club Balrothery paid tribute to Ms Glodenyte in a post online, writing: "The members of Velo Club Balrothery wish to express their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Gabriele Glodenyte who passed away tragically on Saturday while doing what she loved.
"A rising star for UCD Cycling, with a number of wins in her debut season last year including the overall crown at Cycling Ireland's Road National Series. In winning the women’s category at the Gorey 3 day last year, Gabriele placed 15th overall in the GC against a stacked field. This was the highest ever placing of a female athlete in the history of the race.
"Gabriele’s achievements are a huge inspiration to us all. Our thoughts are with her family, Sean and friends at this time.
"Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam."
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, urging them to contact Balbriggan Garda station on 01 802 0510, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
