A woman was taken to hospital following reports of an assault in Cardiff. Police were called to Ball Lane in Llanrumney at 1.30am on Saturday morning.
An 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital with injuries but has since been discharged. Officers from South Wales Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Detective Inspector Dan Sweeney said: “Shortly after 1.30am on Saturday morning (18 March), officers were called to reports of an assault on Ball Lane, Llanrumney.
"An 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries and has since been discharged. Enquiries are ongoing. We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has information about the assault to get in touch with us quoting 2300087056.”
