A woman was taken to hospital following a crash on the A6 Chorley Road.
Emergency services were called to the incident just after 10.30am today (February 25) following reports of a collision involving two vehicles.
According to North West Ambulance Service, the woman was treated at hospital for her injuries and another person was assessed at the scene.

There was heavy traffic on the road in Westhoughton following the accident which occurred at the junction with Lostock Lane.
Motorists were advised to travel via the M61 between J5 - J6 instead and public transport was also diverted.
The road has now been reopened.
A spokesperson for GMP said: "We were called just after 10.30am to a report of a collision involving two vehicles on Chorley Road, Bolton.
"A woman was injured. Road now being re-opened."
