A woman was taken to hospital after an incident in Kilmarnock.
Emergency service crews raced to Treeswoodhead Road on Friday afternoon, and a 29-year-old was transported to Crosshouse Hospital.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.10pm on Friday, October 7, officers were called to concern for a person at a property on Treeswoodhead Road, Kilmarnock.
“A 29-year-old woman was taken to Crosshouse Hospital.”
An eyewitness at the scene, who didn't want to be named, said: “I’m not sure exactly what they’re dealing with, but there’s quite a few police cars and at least a couple of ambulances.
“A few people are gathered round to see what the incident is.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We received a call at 12.27pm on Friday to attend an incident at Treeswoodhead Road, Kilmarnock.
"We dispatched two crews to the scene and transported one patient to Crosshouse Hospital.”
