Woman suffers potentially life-changing injuries after being hit by a car in Bristol

Two pedestrians have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision (RTC) in Bristol this morning (December 9). Emergency services were called by a witness to the incident on Richmond Road, Mangotsfield at 10.43am.

Two pedestrians, women in their 60s and 70s, have been taken to hospital. One has injuries described as potentially life-changing. Their next of kin have been contacted.

Richmond Road was closed for investigation and pending the recovery of the vehicle, but has now reopened. Avon and Somerset Police would like to hear from anyone who saw or has dashcam or other footage of the collision or the car - a beige Vauxhall Astra - in the moments beforehand.
