Woman suffers head injuries after electric scooter and car crash

A woman suffered head injuries after her electric scooter was involved in a crash.

Merseyside Police were called to London Road in Liverpool city centre at around 10.30am today (December 1) after receiving a report that a woman on an electric scooter was involved in a crash with a car. The woman suffered head and leg injuries, while the driver stopped at the scene.

Police and North West Ambulance Service attended the scene and a cordon was put in place between TJ Hughes and the junction of Audley Street. A black car and an ambulance were within the cordon, while police collected the scooter from the road.
