A woman suffered head injuries after her electric scooter was involved in a crash.
Merseyside Police were called to London Road in Liverpool city centre at around 10.30am today (December 1) after receiving a report that a woman on an electric scooter was involved in a crash with a car. The woman suffered head and leg injuries, while the driver stopped at the scene.
Police and North West Ambulance Service attended the scene and a cordon was put in place between TJ Hughes and the junction of Audley Street. A black car and an ambulance were within the cordon, while police collected the scooter from the road.

The black car appeared to have sustained damage to its underside. The road was reopened by police around 12pm.
