Have you ever picked up an item of clothing with unusual straps and pieces of fabric that leave you confused as to how you're actually supposed to wear it?
It's happened to many of us, and one woman has shared a video online after she was left completely stumped by a Fashion Nova dress that she had no idea how to put on.
Estelle Berglin was excited to try on her neon pink dress when it arrived in the post but was confused when she was met with several thin strips of fabric that were all attached to the main body of the dress, with no direction as to how they were supposed to tie together.
And after making her best guess, the final result had people online laughing - with some even saying her wrapped-up form resembled the Stranger Things villain from season four, Vecna.

In her video, which was posted on her TikTok account @sweastyle, Estelle said: "How is this a dress? I ordered this dress online and I'm going to try to figure out how to put it on. I found the zip here, so I guess this is where my body goes."
While she attempted to wrap herself into the dress, the woman referred to the look as a "weird octopus", before eventually finishing it off by tying the last pieces of fabric into a bow.
But people weren't convinced by the final result, with many people pointing out that parts of the dress would still be seethrough if it wasn't for the leotard that Estelle was wearing underneath.
One person said: "I'm not sure that's right, but it was fun to watch."
While another added: "I think you should pull out the straps to cover the transparent bits. That is probably the point of the straps."
And a third wrote: "It’s a sheer dress so you’re supposed to wrap the strings to cover what you don’t want to be seen! It’s super hard. Looks great though!"
Other commenters simply poked fun at the bizarre nature of the dress, comparing it to Vecna, the main villain of the fourth season of Netflix's hit Stranger Things.
Someone joked: "Why does that look like Vecna?"
As someone else added: "Vecna? Is that you?"
Fashion Nova has been contacted for comment.
