Woman spat at and threatened by man who sat behind her on train

Police are investigating after a woman was spat at and threatened while travelling on a train to Llandudno Junction. British Transport Police said that on March 27 at around 6pm a woman was travelling with a friend when three men sat behind them.

One of the men spat at her, which landed on the back of her head and the seat. After moving from her seat and telling the conductor the man followed her and proceeded to threaten her.

CCTV images released this week show a man who officers believe may have information which could assist their investigation. You can get more crime news and other story updates by subscribing to our newsletters here.
