Woman shares hack to get gaming boyfriend out of the way using Harry Potter trick

If you're a gamer, you'll know how easy it is to get into the zone, and before you know it you've got your headphones on and you're shouting at your pals telling them what their next move should be, not realising how loud you're being.

That's why one woman has been praised for her genius hack to move her boyfriend to a separate area of the house to her - whilst still ensuring they're both happy.

Jasmine Grogan, who shares to TikTok as @jazandmac1, to show others that there is a way to compromise - by suggesting your boyfriend move under the stairs, just like Harry Potter.

Over the top of the video of her boyfriend gaming in the cupboard under the stairs she wrote: "Girls if your man takes up loads of room with his gaming stuff in your house just put him under the stairs. He’s happy, I’m happy, he’s not in my way. Win-win."

The tiny area is adorned with fairy lights and his desk and chair comfortably fit in the space to give him enough wiggle room to play his games and not disturb his girlfriend.

Many women were impressed with the hack, with one commenting "Harry Potter" and another hailing the hack as "genius".

Some women had even gone one step further and had already moved their boyfriends under the stairs to play their video games.

One wrote: "I made my partner one of these when he moved in."

Others were tagging their partners in the comments to let them know that they were getting moved under the stairs.

"I'll hide you away", one joked.

Some complained that their boyfriend's stuff wouldn't even fit in such a small space. One wrote: "My boyfriend's computer would barely fit in here, let alone his 6-foot frame in there with it."

Another agreed, writing: "This would not work for my gamer boyfriend his desk takes up half of a bedroom", followed by a crying face.

"I'm claustrophobic Darren", someone hilariously typed.
