A woman is pleading for help amid her claims she could be missing Madeleine McCann. The Polish woman, who says she is 21, posted on Instagram saying she wanted a dna test to see if it was true.
In a video, which has since attracted 25,000 followers and has also featured on Tiktok, she says authorities are ignoring her. But she appealed for help in getting in touch with the youngster's parents Kate and Gerry McCann.
Madeleine was just days away from her fourth birthday when she vanished while on holiday in Praia da Luz in Portugal in 2007. She had been left asleep with her twin two-year-old siblings while her parents dined in a restaurant 180ft away.
Since then there has been no trace despite extensive searches. However over the past five years there have been a number of social media users, particularly on TikTok, going viral thanks to their resemblance to her, reports the Irish Mirror.
The Polish woman is the latest to make the claim. The Daily Star reported how she posted evidence to her Instagram account @iammadeleinemcann. She told followers that a comment from her grandmother prompted her to think she may be the missing youngster a few years ago.
"It was something that I heard from my grandma," she added. She also claims to have freckles similar to Madeleine on her her legs.
She is so convinced she is her that she wants to take a DNA test. She also reaches out to Madeleine's parents in her Instagram bio.

“Help me, I need to talk with Kate and Gerry McCann I think I can be Madeleine. I need DNA test," it reads.
She also claims police investigators in the UK and Poland are ignoring her but that she will continue to tell her story here [on Instagram]. The unnamed woman's so-called evidence is unsubstantiated but has managed to attract over 25,000 followers with her story also circulating on TikTok.
