Woman shares 'creepy' story of food being left outside her house for years

A woman has shared a 'creepy' story of food continuously being left outside her house for years. The homeowner explained all on her TikTok account - Tallblonde.jpg - as she told her 70k followers about how she's been dealing with, what she calls, a "Sandwich Menace".

In the clip, she begins by stating that whoever is leaving food items outside her home is now "escalating." Going into detail about her situation, she told viewers that while she's been living in her home of three years, she has be faced with random food encounters for the past two winters, as sandwiches kept being left near her garage.

"Last winter I started noticing that they were increasing in frequency," she said. So in January just gone, she decided to get a home security camera installed, although it did not help in catching the culprit.

She went on: "I had seen nothing until the last three weeks or so. I've never found sandwiches in the spring, it's always been a winter thing. So I'm really surprised by this and the escalation is really freaking me out."

Recalling all that's happened in the last few weeks, the TikToker says the food items have recently gone from sandwiches to slices of pizza and pieces of chicken. "My mum came up and visited late May, early June, and I walked outside and I noticed another item, on my electrical boxes, except it wasn't a sandwich this time," she said.

"It was a slice of pizza... completely untouched, upside down, so cheese side down, balancing precariously on my utility box.... When my mom saw it she said, 'this is absolutely not an animal. This is 100 per cent a human being doing this'."

The content creator then reveals that she swiftly went to get her camera, however it had fallen down. She says she has since had her boyfriend re-install it for her outside her home.

A week later, the resident claims a strip of chicken appeared outside her home. "It was totally untouched, like brand new," she went on.

"So I go to check my camera, and it didn't pick up anything. So once again, the Sandwich Menace has narrowly escaped capture. But now, he's crossed the line that's making me really f*****g uncomfortable."

However, in the most recent incident, the TikToker says another pizza slice was found outside her house - but not in the usual spot near her garage. Instead, this piece was close to her front door.

“I'm shaking thinking about it," she admitted, before adding how her "blood went cold" when she first saw it. "Whoever is doing this, literally came up to my front door to leave this food item. They probably looked through my window."

The homeowner says she's now ordered a doorbell camera and another outside camera. "I’m just hoping and praying that whoever is doing this sees the cameras and stops," she explained. "I also kind of want to catch them but I don’t even know what I would do if I did."

She ended the video by letting viewers know that she would keep them updated. Since sharing her 'creepy' story, her video has been watched more than 1.6 million times, with thousands commenting their reaction and suggestions.

Jenni Rue Designs replied: "Literally insane you haven’t captured him on video…I need an update." Riferg7 joked: "You should flip the script and put food out there. Throw them off."

Amy added: "Girlll! No! Ugggh…I am so invested in finding the snack bandit! That it is some innocent soul that means no harm to you." Erin O'Connell claimed: "This happened to me too. I would find Pizza, a Pancake, Half a sandwich etc. Found out it was a Squirrel."

Kelsie Marice typed: "It might feel silly, but please file some kind of police report so that it’s on record if things escalate. This is so weird. Stay safe." Houseplantdaddy said: "If it ends up being an animal, you're going to be so relieved. I'm hoping it's an animal."

In response to some people, Tallblonde.jpg herself put: "I promise my bf is not the Sandwich Menace. This started happening looooong before we met."
