A woman who underwent a "lip flip" procedure has said she wouldn't recommend it to anyone else looking to change the shape of their lips - because it left her struggling to speak, drink, and even blow on a cup of tea to cool it down.
The woman, named Pamela, was unhappy with the results of her lip flip and called it "the most annoying thing ever", as she insisted she'd be going for full lip filler in the future.
A lip flip involves injecting botox into the top lip and is most often used by people who have very thin top lips that want more volume to make their top lip as plump as their bottom one.
The results of the procedure often last less time than filler, and so Pamela admitted she had decided to try a lip flip first as it was less of a commitment than going straight for filler - even though she hated the finished look.

In a video shared on her TikTok account, @pamelaaaaa903, the woman filmed herself before getting her lip flip done, and then again five days after having it done.
She said: "Today is day five of the lip flip and it's the most annoying thing ever. I can see a tiny difference, but it's all in the middle of my lip and not so much at the sides.
"It's really annoying when I speak, and when I say words like 'bobby'."
Pamela then ran through some other "annoying things" that her procedure has stopped her from doing, including putting on lipstick - as she can't rub her lips together to evenly spread the product.
She added: "Another annoying thing you can't do is blow on a cup of tea.
"Having a drink [is also a challenge]. Trying to hold it in your mouth is actually so hard."
Text on the video read: "Lip flip (botox in the top lip) before and after: would not recommend to a friend," while the woman also wrote in the caption: "Stick to filler! Results are not worth the annoyance."
Commenters on the video were divided over Pamela's plight, but many of them couldn't help but leave a lighthearted message that poked fun at the clip.
One person said: "I lost it when you tried to rub your lips together."
While another added: "This is very funny. Hopefully it'll wear off soon."
Others were keen to share their experiences with lip flips, with several insisting they hadn't run into any problems and had actually loved having the procedure done.
Someone wrote: "I had lip flip done and did not experience any of this."
As someone else posted: "I am in love with my lip flip and have zero issues. Everyone is different."
But another agreed with Pamela, stating: "Agreed! I hated mine! Felt like I spoke funny. I would defo not recommend either."
Pamela also responded to a few comments herself, as one person asked her why she had gone for a lip flip instead of fillers in the first place.
She told them: "This only lasts 6-12 weeks whereas filler lasts a lot longer, so I wanted to try something subtle before going for fillers."
