Woman's horror as neighbour's hamster chews through wall into her apartment

A woman was left horrified after she started hearing "weird noises" coming from the wall of her apartment. However, Kenna Buchanan was in for further freight when she discovered the source behind the strange sound.

Posting to popular video-streaming service TikTok, the woman documented the peculiar ordeal in a video, which has now surpassed two million views since posting. Taking nightmare neighbour stories to a whole new level, Kenna called in reinforcements when the noise heightened. She turned to the help of her roommate - who was equally as flabbergasted when they realised they had a surprise intruder present.

Much to Kenna and her roommate's shock, the neighbour's hamster Linda had eaten through the wall and ended up in the pair's apartment.

Captioning the post of the viral clip, the TikToker wrote: "Entertaining night, the time my neighbour's hamster chewed through our wall into my apartment!"

She explained that she "noticed a weird hole coming from a small hole in [her] apartment".

Pleading for help, Kenna then texted her roommate for "backup".

She text her pal and said: "There's something digging into our apartment".

The duo had come to the conclusion that a rodent could be eating through the wall, but were baffled when they saw the neighbour's hamster making an appearance.

Assuring viewers of Linda's safe return, Kenna wrote: "Linda was successfully lured out with tortilla chips and returned to her owner."

Flocking to the comment section, viewers were in stitches over the hilarious ordeal and shared their thoughts underneath the video.

One person wrote: "This is so freaking funny."

"As a Leasing agent, I would have started cackling if one of my residents came in and said this happened," a second added.

A different user said: "The fact that you know that your neighbour has a hamster, much less her name, makes me so happy idk why."

While a fourth commented: "Linda just wanted to play."

"Classic Linda," a fifth joked.
