A woman struggled to breathe after her head was pushed under water in a vile attack.
Merseyside Police were called to New Brighton on Monday, March 27 following reports a woman in her 40s was assaulted while walking her dog on along the promenade. It was reported the woman became involved in an argument with two other women walking dogs at around 6.30pm.
During the incident, the woman had part of her hair pulled out. A short time later the victim saw the two women again on King's Parade and reported she was knocked to the ground and had her head pushed into a shallow stream of water.
