If you've ever spilt something greasy down yourself while eating, you'll know how annoying it can be to try and get the oily stain out of your top using standard stain-removing products.
But one woman has said you actually don't need to spend hours soaking and washing your clothes, as there's one beauty product that can get the stains out of your clothes in just "one hour".
The woman, named Imaan, explained that all you need is a can of dry shampoo, which can be bought from Boots for as little as £1.60 for a 200ml can, or at Superdrug at a starting price of £2.25.
You can also add dry shampoo to your regular supermarket shop, as Asda sell their own brand for £1 a can, and Tesco start their dry shampoo range at £1.50, or £1.20 with a Clubcard.
Imaan posted her hack on TikTok on her @imaanduh account, where she said all you have to do is cover the stain in dry shampoo and leave it to sit for around an hour before wiping it clean.
She said: "I have an oil stain on my shirt, but watch this."
After leaving the shampoo to sit, she returned an hour later and wiped the product off with a tissue, and people were left stunned when they saw the t-shirt was perfectly clean.
She added: "Oil stain where? Dry shampoo is a hack."
Imaan's video has been viewed over 6.3 million times, and people can't get enough of how simple and easy the trick is to do - with many saying they can't wait to try it the next time they stain their clothes by accident.
One person said: "I've thrown away clothes with oil spots. Life hack for real."
While another added: "This is definitely going viral. GENIUS."
And a third wrote: "Omg, game changer!"
Someone also asked Imaan if her hack had to be done on clothes immediately after they've been stained, but she claimed she had also recently managed to remove a stain from a dress she'd stained back in January.
Other commenters also added more helpful tips, as some said you can try using baby powder on oil stains if you don't want to buy dry shampoo.
