Woman's 'amazing' Eurovision hairstyle has people stopping her in street

A woman is in full Eurovision swing after dying her hair in bright yellow, blue, and pink.

Anna Golmen styled her hair in Eurovision colours after talking to her hairdresser Hayley Pritchard who works at Voodoo Hair Salon. The pair wanted to create a hairstyle that celebrated Eurovision and all the good it has done for the city.

Anna said that after leaving the salon on Bold Street she was stopped by passers-by asking for a photograph and loves how the city has embraced the once-in-a-lifetime event.

Anna, from Norway, told the ECHO: "I love having my hair like this but it was more of Hayley's creation and I'm a big Eurovision fan so it was the perfect idea when she suggested it.

"A lot of people are commenting and taking pictures of me and three people came up to talk to me about the hair. I'm going down to the EuroVillage today so it will be the same."

Anna, who has lived in Liverpool for three years said the process took around two hours and while she is rooting for Norway believes that neighbouring Sweden will take the top spot at Eurovision.

Hayley 32, said: "I do Anna's hair a lot and the heart is just known as the symbol of Eurovision and I painted it myself, it came out cool and she looks amazing.

"Everyone is really in the spirit and it is just phenomenal, every time I walk to work there is a camera crew or something going on. The salon has just been buzzing, everyone from Europe just taking over the city has been great, I love it."
