A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on Christmas Day on a busy Glasgow road.
The crash took place at around 11.55pm on Wednesday, December 25, on Croftfoot Road in the Southside.
It involved a pedestrian and a vehicle.
After being alerted to the incident, emergency crews raced to the area.
Following that, the pedestrian, a 53-year-old woman, was taken to hospital for treatment.
Now, officers are appealing for anyone with information or dash-cam footage of the collision to come forward.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us. “We also ask anyone driving in the area at the time with dash-cam footage to come forward.” A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: "Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 2579 of December 25, 2024."
