Woman 'repeatedly sexually assaulted' by another woman on Elizabeth Line train

Police would like to speak to this woman - (British Transport Police)

A woman has reported being repeatedly sexually assaulted by another woman as she travelled on an Elizabeth Line train from central London.

The woman was on a service from Tottenham Court Road to Maidenhead around 8.30pm on October 12 when the alleged sexual assaults happened.

British Transport Police (BTP) is investigating the incident, and on Tuesday released CCTV image of a woman they are keen to trace.

“Officers believe the woman in the image may have information which could help with their investigation,” said a BTP spokesperson.

Anyone who recognises her is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 223 of 13 October.

Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
